KOTA BARU: A man sprayed Mace at Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad moments after the former Prime Minister arrived at the airport here Friday morning.

In Putrajaya, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said he was angry over the incident and ordered the police to conduct an immediate investigation and to take stern action against those responsible for the act.

According to police, former Umno strongman Datuk Ibrahim Ali took the brunt of the spray on his face while Dr Mahathir and his bodyguard were also affected.

The 11am (0300GMT) incident took place just as Dr Mahathir was entering a 4WD vehicle together with Ibrahim.

Dr Mahathir, who was seen taking off his glasses and wiping his eyes, was rushed from the vehicle by his other security personnel to a car nearby, which then drove away.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan told The Star that his officers have identified the man who sprayed the mace and expect to make an arrest soon.

Musa said the police were investigating the incident under Section 328 of the Penal Code.

The section reads: "Whoever administer to or causes to be taken by any person any poison or any stupefying intoxication or unwholesome drug or other things with intent to cause hurt to such person or with intent to commit or facilitate the commission of an offence or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby cause hurt shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 10 years and shall also liable to fine"

Later at a press conference, Dr Mahathir described the attack as an attempt to stop him from speaking out.

Describing how he felt, Dr Mahathir said: “It felt something like a sore throat, my eys were stinging, I could not see clearly and removed my glasses.”

The former premier said he would continue with his scheduled talks Friday.

Dr Mahathir was on a one-day visit to Kelantan and was scheduled to attend a dialogue and dinner organised by the Kelantan People’s Action Council headed by Datuk Paduka Ibrahim Ali.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said he was angry over the incident and ordered the police to conduct an immediate investigation and to take stern action against those responsible for the act.

"I regret and am very angry such an incident has happened," he said, adding that those responsible for the incident should be severely punished.

He said the matter should be immediately resolved to avoid negative implications and misconception among the public.

The Prime Minister also feared that certain quarters would take advantage of the incident by disseminating rumours, especially through the Internet.

Hugh Jackman will become the director of the film AND will play the character: Ivan the imaginary friend.

To be honest, while reading the book, I imagined Hugh Jackman to be Ivan, the little boy from the tv series 'Surface' to be the nephew : Luke and of course, the main character, Elizabeth, I imagine Charlize Theron. Why? Charlize Theron has always been an excellent actress to play a part of a lady that is always tension and stress as well as filled with problems...yet still have the love look in her eyes.. Strong.. byet weak deep inside... :) eerrr... hmmm.. Hey!... It's a compliment!

Thanks to my lovely Sis Sarah for recommending me a beautiful yet talented author : Cecelia Ahern. Also thanks to Kak Mie... for lending me the books.. without you, I wont get to read it unless buy them all. U know me.. Sekali beli... angkut semua terus.. Nguahahaha...

And for that, I'd like to recommend to those out there to read the book.. for the sarcastic people.. don't bother. Oh.. you can also try Sophie Kinsella.. that... i dedicate to the shopaholic.. like me.. Ngahahahah..~

Life Updates!

Okaaayyyy... it's been a while since I've updated my blog. Kesian kau blog... takper.. takper... Hmm.. what have I been up to lately.. apart from constant hanging out with my siao-siao friend Foxy Cleopatra.. I've been busy going off for client meetings, presentations and not forgetting bugging my other colleagues.

As for work, I'm currently working out on two projects.. independantly with Caleb's assistance of course. They are the Hari Wanita 2006 Launching Gimmick & Multimedia Presentation and not forgetting The Ministry Youth & Sports web portal. They loved the presentation.. they loved the ideas.. So now it depends on the price of the big project.

Since I've been quite busy lately.. (Of course, there are rests in between.. takkanlah kerja cam robot kaaan~).. I rarely hang out with Adzri and Leena. I miss them so much. I promise, next week, I'll hang out with them! Hontou ni desu! :D

I've watched Superman~ ~ Teng.... teng teng teng teng... teng~ teng~ teng~~ (Lagu Superman lah!!) Oh.. Brandon Routh....my love... you look so gay yet so beautiful.. Grrr... Haba! Haba! Hahaha... I've also watched Pirates of Caribbean.. hmm.. even though some of my colleagues already spilled out some of the things that I shouldn't know...:P Johnny Depp (Jack Sparrow) funny as always, Keira Knightly... uhuhu.. Euuuu.... Orlando Bloom.. hmm..Sian~! although I've squeezed my brain hard enough to recall the previous story and trying to relate it with the version 2.. In the end.. I'm still blur.

Foxy Cleopatra asked me the questions like.."why did Will Turner's father become a slave to Davy Jones?" , "Why the Monkey is still cursed"?, "Why Jack Sparrow owes Davy Jones?" ... (Sigh~) In the end, we still have to wait for POC 3.

Finally, I've finished watching Prison Break, which all of these while sitting in my cupboard, crying. Wentworth Miller... U're bald head and serious look really make my heart melts. Darah naik especially the part where he kissed the lady doctor.. ShannarooooO!!!

Apart from that, whenever I'm back from work, I'll surely accompany my sister to watch Naruto. Best jugak cerita tu~ I've become addicted. Ngehehehe... \:D/

Last week, my colleagues and I went to play badminton. That was the second time since our first game. I guess last week was not my week. Not only that i fell while trying to catch Caleb's attack, my partner, Max, even accidently hit the ball onto my head (where he was supposed to hit the ball to the opponents). Now, the bruise on my knee has evolved from green colour to purple colouurrrrr!~~~ Kawaii.. <-- Ek.... Et..To'.....

And latest update.. last week... we went for badminton again... i noticed (baru notice?) that i sucks big time man! Even my partner and I accidently bumped our racquet together.. and just after i went home.. his racquet string putuuuuussss ... uwaaaa... gomennnnn :((

Oh ya! Caleb went to Hong Kong and he's back today! He brought my ipod nano's casing and its lovely green socks :D Arigatou ne ~ boss! While Caleb was in Hong Kong, I've handled most of the job, even met the clients on my own, and of course, as I've said earlier, I did a presentation with the Ministry Youth & Sport people. I even finished the proposal for them. If it's ON, it'll be a very FUN! FUN! FUN! and challenging project! I even listed out all my future plannings for the project. lalalala~

Congratulations to MR. OC upon getting the new job. I'm very proud of you and will always pray that you will excel in everything. Can't wait for you to come to KK too! :-*

Canon Workshop

Yesterday 02/07/06 , Sunday, all mmd staff went to the Canon Workshop organized by Canon. There, we saw loads of photographs being displayed, and during the talk session we were briefed on all the techniques required to capture a beautiful picture. Of course.. it wont be easily achieved if you only have point and shoot camera.

To cut long story short, after lunch session, we have free outdoor shooting and the ‘amoi’ models were provided. They posed here and there, different positions. Some just wont get tired posing at the trees.. Chiew said they can be monkeys, and better off climbing the coconut tree. Haha! Some are beautiful, some are just.. well.. no comment. After the outdoor shooting, they changed into very sexy and super short outfit. To be honest, one of the girls trying to adjust her skirt before seating on a chair, and ended up giving me a free show, i.e. imagine round peach wearing black thong. Hahahahah!

Even though I love learning about photography, tapiiii… tunggu lah aku kaya dulu yer~ Like Mr. Teoh (one of the speakers) said, “if you engaged yourself in photography, it’s like me marry my wife. If I marry her, I have to marry the whole family” Figure that one out!

At night, I brought my baby sis to CP and we ate at Japanese Dreamfood Restaurant. Thanx Foxy for buying 016 starter pack for me. Curses to DIGI for stop delivering 016 numbers. Can’t you seeee.. nobody likes your 014 number. The ‘4’ just doesn’t sound right!! As a reward, I treated Foxy for his dinner ;)) . He called my baby sis, “Little goofy~ eat some Takoyaki”, my sis looked at him… and I taught her to say “No thanx, big bad Foxy”. Ahaks! Jya!
