- Yesterday, the 3 of us, 'fasana' had our wonderful dinner at Wagamama Japanese Restaurant inAsiaCity Complex. We ate loads of Sushi and not forgetting the set meals. Nadia ordered Mixed Furai and Cici ordered something-something fish with garlic rice. In the end, we have to admit that Nadia's food tasted a lot better and looked so delicious (which in the end, she has to share her portion with the two of us... Kuuuu~ Ku~ Ku~ Ku~ Ku~)...
We were told that the 30% discount promotion for the sushi has been extended till the 31st January. Yokatta desu~~ :D

Apples and Wine
Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
Now men... men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to the women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
Share this with all the good apples you know..

Loving Someone...
- Sometimes, in our relentless efforts to find the person we love we fail to recognize and appreciate the people who love us. We miss out on so many Beautiful things and simply because we allow ourselves to be enslaved by our own selfish concerns. Go for the man of deeds and not for the man of words for you will find rewarding happiness not with the man you love but the man who loves you more.
The best lovers are those who are capable of loving from a distance, far enough to allow the other person to grow, but never too far to feel the love deep within your being. to let go of someone doesn't mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow that person to find his own HAPPINESS without expecting him to come back. Letting go is not just setting the other person free, but it is also setting yourself free from all fears, bitterness, hatred, and anger that you keep in your heart.
Do not let the bitterness pare away your strength and weaken your faith, and never allow pain to dishearten you, but rather let you grow with wisdom in bearing it. You may have found peace in just loving someone from a distance not expecting anything in return. But be careful, for this can sustain life but can never give enough room for us to grow. We can all survive with just beautiful memories of the past but real peace and happiness come only with open acceptance of what reality is today.
There comes a time in our lives when we chance upon someone so nice and we just find ourselves getting so intensely attracted to that person. This feeling soon become a part of our everyday lives and eventually consumes our thoughts and actions. The sad part of it is when we begin to realize that this person feels nothing more for us than just friendship, or the feelings he might have for u is just too far from how you love him. We start our desperate attempt to get noticed and be closer but in the end our efforts are still unrewarded and we end up being sorry for ourselves.
You don't have to be bitter on love. What you need to learn is how to accept the verdict of reality without being bitter or sorry for yourself Believe me, you would be better off giving that dedication and love to someone more deserving. Don't let your heart run your life, be sensible and let your mind speak for itself. Listen not only to your feelings but to reason as well.
Always remember that if you lose someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow: If you lose love that doesn't mean that you failed in love. Cry, if you have to, but make it sure that the tears wash away the hurt and the bitterness that the past has left with you. Let go of yesterday and love will find its way back to you. And when it does, pray that it may be the love that will stay and last a lifetime.
"When you lose someone... and you think you were the one who loved most, between the two of you... he lost more. For someday you can love someone the way that you loved him...But he will never be loved again the way that you did"

KKIPC Annual Dinner 2006
-
After 3 late nights and lack of sleep, I finally finished the last minute AD 2006 'international night' multimedia presentation. I also memorised the lyrics to the songs that I have to sing with Eavy and Marissa, also, the steps for our annual dinner dancing. All the hard work is worth it!
After the wonderful dinner, slide shows of KKIPC 10 year’s recap, cake cutting ceremony for the present & past BODs, launching of the new KKIPC logo (kesian logo kena quarantine) and performances by the Body Care Studio, it was finally my turn to sing. Eavy and I got coldfeet when Arthur announced our name. My jantung berdegup like it wanted to explode. When Eavy and I were on the stage, we posed and waited for the song to be played. We sang 'Hanya Memuji' by Shanty & Marcell, one of the top pop Indonesian artists. Surprisingly it was OK & I did noticed I stumbled a bit at the end. Haha! Gotta thank my sis for recommending the song.
Eavy and I singing to "Hanya Memuji" by Shanty & MarcellAfter that, KKIPC dancing team i.e. Marissa, Florence, Agnes, Herman, Clifton, Eavy and I got ready for our turn to dance. We danced the remix and combination version of Shakira - Hips Don't Lie and PCD - buttons. It was so much fun!
Dance to "Hips Don't Lie" and "Buttons"
Next was the singing performance by Marissa and I. We sang 'Sayonara Solitia', from Chrono Crusade original Soundtrack. I gotta say that it was the first Japanese song that I had ever sung in front of everybody. I almost forgotten the lyrics and thought "if I mumbled my way with whatever Japanese words I can think of, orang takkan faham jugak" Hahahaha. SKN also performed one of his favourite songs that night. His voice also ada ummph!
(Feeling tak sudah! Baka!)
Best dress of the night goes to Mr. Edwin who was dashing in red Batik and Hayati with her elegant blue Sari. Everybody applauded that our big boss won. According to Jocelyn, they just don’t want to count the votes anymore coz every single paper was written with Mr. Edwin’s name for the male best dress of the night! Haha.
Anyways, I have to say big congratulations to Marissa for winning the DVD player, Jennifer Ku for the Home Theatre system, Lisa and Pat for the air flight tickets and vacuum cleaner as well as other winners from the lucky draw. They were so lucky, weren’t they?! =D
Marissa & I
Whatever it is, the Annual Dinner 2006 of KKIPC was great! Although felt a bit awful that the intro video I did for the night only lasted for 2 minutes and Caleb had to work alone while I was performing (Nasib Marissa ada) and Lai had to stand at the corner to monitor the video shooting from another angle (while go back and forth to take his food - he wouldn't miss that for sure :P), we had fun. Cheers!!!
