For those who are born in the year of the Pig, though you have moved away from the unstable year of 2007, this year is not going to be easy for you too. (oh gosh.. not again...) Trip to Bangkok were basically cancelled due to the under-budgeted cost of transportation. Trip to Padang was also canceled due to the unstable political situations there. Garghhh!!! Bongok siehhH!!! I also found out that I have to work on Valentine’s day for the Mr. Valentine event organized by Shenanigan’s Hyaat and Fairuz Modelling Studio. Ergh.. now I remember why I feel that something is up during Valentine’s day. ><” . Mendokusei naaaaa…..~ Anyways, during dinner with Rummy-mummy, Marssie and ‘I am’ Julian, mummy was mentioning about one of his friends that like to wear make-up as thick as tepung muka opera. Lol! It suddenly reminded me of a forwarded email that my colleague, Serena, shared with me the other day. Behold~~~ the power of makeup!

The similarity of men and kids
I came across an article and was reading all the comments given by the men about their girlfriends. One of them that caught my attention was, when this particular guy posted, "Women are so complicated. They expect us to understand them but do they seriously understand about us?" Well 'baby', this is my 2 cents for this matter.
Ladies & gentleman, Yes, Men ARE a very simple minded creatures beings ... Literally speaking, they are like kids. Just like kids, you just have to satisfy and tolerate with them when it comes to these factors:
#1 - Keep them well fed i.e. Food. Even though the term "To get to your man's heart is through his tummy" is so lame and old fashion, nonetheless it is applicable when they are hungry. When they are hungry, there are no stopping to them. The food will take up 99% part from their brain, their hearing, their concentration, their temper...and all they can think of is food food food. If he has a great imagination, he might even imagine you as KFC, McD, nasi pattaya, nasi lemak, chicken chop, lamb chop, char sau (if your guy is a pork-lover *euu* just like my boss), ice cream, roti bakar, mee basah, char kueh teow, ChiapChiapChiapChiapChiap! aaaaannnnd the rest you can leave it to their imagination. He could also be imagining you depending on how you look!. If a woman looks just like Norbit's wife in the movie (*go figure*), you don't have to be a man to imagine what kind of a food your guy will be imagining her as. Am not saying that you have to please them with gourmet dishes and delicious food all the time....Just get the milk bottle ready at all time OR don't whine or be too demanding when they are hungry. If you do, there'll be only one word exist in their dictionary,- ANNOYING!
#2 - Keep them entertained with toys. Need me to explain more? Just like kids, they won't go to you/do what you want them to do if you don't have something as a bait. However, if you give a kid access to everything, they'll be left with nothing to do / to play with sooner or later. So don't be stupid and give it all at once. Instead, be smart and enjoy the precious moments together coz not only it will spice things up, but it'll also keep the sparks. E.g. starts with candy, then chocolate and save the delectable and mouth-watering desserts for later.
#3 - Let them enjoy their hobbies. Just like kids, they love watching Sponge Bob Square Pants and other super hero series in the television or internet. Their brain needs some developing. Hobbies keep them well educated and active... not sloppy. This includes playing sports such as badminton and football....or even card games and computer games with their kiddy little friends. So women?play a roll like a mother. You must keep them discipline... and keep them in your radar. Too many TV shows will only get them more hyper, lack of sleep, tired and fall sick in the end. We don't want that to happen to our man do we girls...? So be cool, but be firm and do your job at the same time.
#4 - Give them ABC and 123 instead of E=MC2 or "Honey... are you hungry?" and when your man says NO and keeps quiet after that, you'll be pissed off because he doesn't have the courtesy of asking you in return or concern about you. Girls,they are not like us. If we're in their spot, we know exactly what to say next e.g. "No.. I'm good. How about you?". *wink! It's already in our life dictionary. Plus, we are the Adjectives, Adverbs, Prepositions, (*and etc) in English. My point is, no matter how good you are with words, but when it comes to man, you have to be direct with them. Because in their dictionary, there are only the Noun and Interjection i.e. YES or NO or Oh No!.... Aha! Just like the military. Yes Sir! Yes Sir! Lol! (Bongok sieh!)
#5 - Give them their sleep and give them time to wake their brain up in the morning to go to school. Just like kids, they'll get cranky when they woke up in the morning, particularly when they are been forced or nagged early in the morning. What you can do is easy. Smile. Yes... I understand. It's hard to smile while holding the sweats and controlling the almost visible and irritated veins on your forehead. But that is what special about us women. We are very patient. But I honestly won't say all women are like that. So boys... If u met this kind of woman, don't be stupid fuckers and walk on their head. I'll seriously bet that you'll dine in hell. Spartaaaaaaaaaaan!
#6 - Kids hate nagging parents. So don't nag IF you don't have too. Just put man aside; even you don't like to be nagged by anyone. So be calm, cool and collected.
#7 - Just like kids, they like pretty things and even if they don't say it, they still like what they see/have. Yes girls, I know...Some man are just too stupid to notice. If you come across that kind of WTF KMA MTF dude, he's just not worth your time. Don't do it for the guy. Do it for urself. Dress up for urself. Feel beautiful for yourself. Be confident. Man loves confident woman. We are living in the modern world and we are all independent enough to think and to survive on our own financially and socially. They'll hate a toy which is auto-programmed to say...I love you. Do u love me? I Love you. Do you love me? I Love you.. Do you love me??. Seriously.... if I have that plushy toys which keep saying the same thing over n over again, I'll throw it in the dustbin or straight to DBKK, pronto! Bosan sieh! Be a sophisticated Barbie! (*not a stupid dumb blond plastic). They are so pretty and smart, and ppl are just crazy about them. As for the man, BE A MAN!? (am saying this with Russell Peters joke tone and expression). Unless you want people to mistaken you as a maid butler beside your girl; be presentable. You'll feel cool and feel good too! (+) Bonus point when you're with your special someone. You can be yourself or with no strings attached at all when you're alone with your girl. I truly respect guys who make an effort to change what they can change for the better. Not only for his special someone, but for himself as well.
#8 Alright. Let's get back to the topic. Just like kids, they don't share their fav toys and this is part of the E.G.O.
#9 - They like to be in charge. They don't want you to become a constant walking and talking wikipedia + ms know it all. They want YOU to be their supporting character. Well... come to think of it, it isn't so bad girls. Lead actor WILL NOT survive without a supporting character to bloom their characteristics. Men have their own thingy to be dominant. So let them BE the Smart one. Girls, no worries... we ARE smart. We're just letting them get the lime light. Plus, who honestly want to go out with someone who agrees to everything you do? Bottom line, Boys will be boys. Girls will be girls, no matter how much we act like one of the guys. Just enjoy the secure feeling whenever we're out with them. Well?hrrm?if they're sissy, consider keeping your options open if feeling secure is one of your top priority.
DuDudududuu!!~~~ (eh.. ni dah off topic ni..) Okays~ Hussa Hussaaaa~ Aihs.. I always have this thing when it comes to woman being bullied. And I also have this thing when I hear the ladies being so control freak. In other words dua-dua sama sajaaaaaaaaaaa. ><"
Okay kids! So the point of today's lesson is.. couple rule - do unto your partner as you would have him do unto you. While women want their men to fulfill 4 roles i.e. the hero, playmate, friend and lover, The man just need 6 types of women. And they are red hot lover, cheerleader, mum, best friend, animal tamer (someone to teach him social graces and make a home, etc) and a helpful adult.
If he really is for you, he'll find a way to make it happen. You just have to be happy and cheerful most of the time. Let them be themselves and let them do most of the arrangement and contacting. However, be a supporting character, be independent and stop running around and whining about things. Being together is not to complete each other. It's to bring the best out of one another.
You have to spend time with someone to see their reactions and build experiences together.. so don't be so anxious for a commitment. It is waaay toooo sooon to get serious when you have not spent much time together. Take your time. Get busy and live your life and let god take care of the rest.
If all hells break lose, I guess they just need a cool mom.. or die alone. Enuff sed.
Awake, Fresh & Full
GahGahGahGahGah! Puas gila babas tidur petang tadi Okaaaaayyy!!!! After I got back from lunch at KAC, I was practically very-very-very tired and very-very-very sleepy. It's rarely for you to see me taking a nap or dozzing off flat in the afternoon, with my make up on, not thinking about anything else in this world unless if I'm too damn tired. All those late nights and extra works definitely-definitely paid off. Bayar hutaaaanngggg!!! Fuh! And now I just got back from makan ikan bakar. Sodap siehhhhh~~~ and announcement.... 'saya lupa zip seluar' sekian terima kasih.
Anyways, Julian's Guest DJ'ing' session last night went well... and to my surprise, Mrs. Viola managed to drag KC (Julian's Bro) into doing guest-DJing as well. Oh yeah... I was invited to join the launching event of 'Fauziah Gambus' debut album in Le Meridien this morning. If you're wondering who Fauziah is.. she's a 20-year old petite and very cute lady of Bongawan Sabah who is very passionate about playing the big Gambus instrument since 5 years ago. The last time I saw her was when she performed together with her sister during Sabah Fest 2007. Gambus is actually a traditional lute and one of the oldest stringed musical instruments made by the Brunei-Malay community in Sabah. The producer of her album is none other than the coconut head guy (go figure) Abu Bakar Ella from Sampalau Production.
If you want to know, satu kampung tu datang to support her, till ALL the food lesap licin in few seconds. If I were to imagine the look on KC and my face seeing them scavenging the fried meehoon and fried chicken and cakes and coffee and tea and milo and susu and horlicks and nestum (eih~~ ini sudah tokok tambah...) even fruits in few minutes.....(!!!*wtf*!!!!) You'll understand what I mean.. Scaryyyy.....
But I have to say.. the launching event was a disaster so to speak. From the launching, to video presentation and to the performance. I pity her man. And this is her first album we're talking about.
This is what happened. During the launching, the minister was suppose to hit the ice look-a-like panel with a small hammer to get Fauziah's album in it (Literally speaking, to signify the discovery of a unique album) But the problem was, i THINK, the minister was not properly advice before hand on what to do which then resulted him to hit some place else. After figuring out what to do, and before he could even finish breaking the ice panel, some smart ass went out and blow the confetti. Sedeeeeeeyyyyyy... Not only that, the multimedia presentation didn't work out properly and the last disastrous event I remember happened today was the technical problem of the mic/pa system during Fauziah's performance.. I pity her so much that I decided to go to the washroom. To Fauziah, "kuatkan semangat"! (Ngegeh*).
